Stephanie Shrum, BS, LMT, has been practicing massage since 1997. Although she began her first shiatsu studies in 1992 while an undergraduate at Tulane University, she received her massage therapy diploma from Blue Cliff School of Therapeutic Massage, in New Orleans, LA.Her training at Blue Cliff only served to ignite her passion to learn more about the body and the healings arts. This passion lead her to take her first trip to Thailand in 1999 and discover her love for Thai Massage. Since then, she has spent over 9 months of her life in Thailand deepening her understanding of the art of Thai Massage. Her knowledge of bodywork spans well beyond the scope of classic Thai massage. She has studied across the United States, India, Peru, Mexico and Europe. She has extensive training and experience in Deep Tissue, CranioSacral therapy, myofascial release, structural integration, and energy work. Stephanie draws upon this experience in a medical setting to support her practice and understanding of the body. Her curiosity about mind, body and spirit connections has brought her to study at places such as The Process Work Institute in Portland, OR and to study and work at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, CA. She loves to bring her experience with dance, movement therapy, and Gestalt awareness practice into her bodywork sessions and classes.  "I am a great aficionado of bodywork.
